The “Innovations and local economic systems” research area includes projects carried out by teams coordinated by Paola Bertolini, Michele Bruni, Giuseppe Fiorani, Enrico Giovannetti, Margherita Russo, Giovanni Solinas. The research groups investigate the local development area with particular focus on the analysis of the environment, social economics, innovation, socio-demographic structure and dynamic and production sectors. The analysis of the local area systems are addressed both at the national and the European level.
