The workshop aims to extract general, but also sector specific lessons and policy implications on innovation in the digital age. The workshop will discuss the digital transformation and the implications for innovation in firms, markets and sectors and the emerging policy challenges. Specific debates at the workshop will focus on the role of technology diffusion and related policies, the value of data and the relevance of data access in different sectors, and sectoral differences in mechanisms of knowledge co-creation. Finally, at the workshop the main findings and policy recommendations of the OECD reports "Digital Innovation: Seizing Policy Opportunities" and Digital opportunities for better agricultural policies: insights from agri-environmental policies will be presented.
