This event will feature a presentation by Margherita Russo to review work conducted by her team on the successes, challenges in implementing COVID-19 tracing apps, focusing on core issues for the TIP community. This in-depth meeting is a chance to explore this topic in more detail.
The findings of the working paper, “The systemic dimension of success (or failure?) in the use of data and AI during the COVID-19 pandemic: A cross-country comparison on contact tracing apps”, will be reviewed, and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss next steps and the potential applicability of this work to the TIP.
